Nice Scoop!!!
Nice balanced weight,some family members have said its on the heavy side,I think its just right.It cuts through hard ice cream a lot easier than other scoops I've tried and feels secure in my hand...

Great scoop until the finish flakes!
The ergonomics of this scoop are quite good -- very sturdy, easy to grip, makes nice round scoops. After about two years use, however, the aluminum finish in the center of the scoop has started to flake, which doesn't give one a warm fuzzy feeling!

A scoop worth buying
... Happy I bought this! Love this brand and love this scoop! It makes all my hard ice cream a breeze to scoop PLUS none of my spoons are getting bent!

Good design except CORROSION of scoop
Had two. Current one just like the first one is seriously corroded. Scoop surface appears to be chrome but not. If it is aluminum the anodizing breaks down. A different brand that was aluminum had the same problem. My guess is anodized aluminum not suitable.

Generally Zyliss makes quality kitchen tools. This has serious flaw. Wrote them and they offered a new one free if I sent the old one in. Not worth the time and cost. The corrosion is serious over time. Maybe a teflon coating?

Very easy to use
We've been through a few ice cream scoops in our house, and this one gets the best ratings from everyone. Even the kids find it easier to scoop out ice cream on their own.
